Whitney Studio Container Art

Shipping containers have come a long way from there natural use. Now, there used as homes for families, offices, and even art exhibits! Here  recycled shipping containers are stacked to form a two-level structure measuring 20x20x20 feet. The container was built by the Whitney Museum and now provides a space where special exhibits and other activities are held for the Whitney education program. Designed by LOT-EK, the Whitney Studio consists of six joined containers to form one unique unit for many unique uses.
