It’s never too late in the day to sit and call upon the name of the Lord, everyone has those mid day issues that can affect the rest of the day, even there whole day! Let’s not take it that far, we can even start at home! It is important to open that connection with God before the thoughts of your day take place. Were to seek God early, each day brings a new trial or tribulation, as each day God brings a scripture that could help you through that situation. Mark 1:35 tells us, “very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed”. It easy to get caught up with life that you neglect those needed times for solitude, individual worship, and prayer, some times this calls for reorganizing our priorities and schedule to find time for prayer. Some steps you could take are to: (1) Seek the Lord before your busy schedule takes over your thoughts (2) Withdraw from noise and demands so you can focus on God. (3) Reflect on the priorities Jesus had for HIS life. (4) Determine to pray on a more regular basis, not just in time of crisis. Don’t forget that just because your at work doesn’t mean you cant get that same connection with God you would if you were at your home. God can hear you rather you be on the train, in the office or walking down the street, He’s everywhere and always listening. If prayer was important to Jesus, then it must be important for his followers. Have a great rest of the day! Just one more day till the weekend!
