Good Morning | Freedom, Can You Handle It?

As we know, the bible is for our own good, it was created to allow us to get closer to God. Though many read, and study God’s word, does not mean they fully act on His word. The bible guides our lives by showing us how to live. We can always ask God for the strength to obey his direction for our lives.

We are to put into action the teachings we get from the bible, God’s word. Though it is important to listen to what God says, it’s if not equally, its more important to obey what God says.

Before we start to question the way God is forcing us to live, ask yourself if you are fully and totally obeying him. Sometimes the reason why we aren’t where we want to be is because we can’t handle it. Even without God’s guidance, we wouldn’t be able to handle the full freedom that he blesses us with. The one and only true way to achieve total freedom is to be obedient to God. By us being his children, he cares for us tremendously. Why would he allow us to take on his freedom when we aren’t fully capable of handling his freedom? This is why it is important to ask for Gods voice to become more noticeable, so we can know how to attain the promises that God has layer before us.

Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.

– James 1:23-25

Speak and act as those who are going to be judged by the law that gives freedom

– James 2:12

Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves.

– 1 Peter 2:16

However, take heed, do not be fooled that God’s freedom allows us to do whatever we desire. As believers, we are free to live as God created us to live. We are now free to obey God. As 1 Peter 2:16 warns us, “do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil”. We are to live as faithful and obedient servants of God.

In closing, God can trusts us with his free range freedom. Though ultimately, it us who has the true say if weather we can handle that or not.

Have a great day, God Bless…
