Good Morning | God Knows Best

Has someone ever given you the wrong directions when you were trying to get to  a destination? Has someone ever steered you the wrong way and caused you to do something out of your character? Many times we choose to listen to our friends, co-workers, and even our family for advice. We often blame them when the outcome of there advice wasn’t what we’d thought it would be.

We forget that at all times, we can count on God’s advice on our situations in life. No other person can give you God’s type of direction and advice on your own life. He knows what road we should take, he knows exactly how to get you to your ultimate destination. God’s plan for our life can not in any way be deterred or told by anyone else.

So be careful to do what the Lord your God has commanded you; do not turn aside to the right or to the left. Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land that you will possess.

– Deuteronomy 5:32-33

Do not turn aside from any of the commands I give you today, to the right or to the left, following other gods and serving them.

– Deuteronomy 28: 14

Do not turn to the right or the left; keep you foot from evil.

– Proverbs 4:37

We must continue to keep looking straight ahead, for sin is on either side of us. It’s important to concentrate on those things that will keep us on the right path. Don’t go for everything you see, and avoid detours that lead to sin.

Have a great, safe, blessed, weekend! Try to get out and have fun!
