Good Morning | Your Tongue Can Be Your Worse Enemy

Are you living a contradicting life? Words are powerful, we’ve seen an example of this in the book of genesis when God called light upon the earth. It’s important to know how to use your words, being as though they (words) hold great verbal power.

At times our words are right and pleasing to God, but other times they can be violent and destructive. We shouldn’t speak negatively of anything, this includes people and even your own personal situations. It is possible to not only curse other people and there lives, but also our own selves and lives.

With the tongue we praise our Lord and Father, and with it we curse human beings, who have been made in God’s likeness. Out of the same mouth come prise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be. (NIV)

James 3: 9, 10

It can even be the most simple things we wouldn’t even expect. If you keep speaking poorly about your body, your body can become sick. If you keep saying you can’t stand your car, your car can be stolen, or just stop working. Etc.

Instead of speaking poorly or negatively about a situation or even person, do something to fix it! Don’t hate your spouse or significant other, do something to resolve your issues.

Watch your thoughts, they become words.
Watch your words, they become actions.
Watch your actions, they become habits.
Watch your habits, they become character.
Watch your character, for it becomes your destiny.

Speak prosperity, happiness, joy, and most importantly LOVE over your life, and others…

Peace & Blessings
