Good Morning | What Do You Put All Your Faith In

Thursday (Summer)

Good morning, hope all are well and feeling highly blessed. This morning I’d like to speak about what to put your faith in. Eventually clothes wear, electronics become obsolete, friendships and even relationships fade away. So what’s left? As all those material and earthly things perish, God continues to be the same God then and now.

“Lift your eyes and look to the heavens: who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one, and calls them each by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.”

Isaiah 40:26 (NIV)

Lift up your eyes to the heavens, look at the earth beneath; the heavens will vanish like smoke, the earth will wear out like a garment and its inhaitants die lie flies. But my salvation will last forever, my righteousness will never fail.

Isaiah 51:6 (NIV)

As these scriptures in Isaiah describe the never changing God that we serve, I realize, nothing even matters, when its all said and done, God is the only thing that will never change. Realizing this really poured enlightenment over my soul, knowing that I serve a God that will outlast anything and everything of this world. My ultimate destination does not reside within man, or this earth, my ultimate destination is on the right side of my savior.

Its important to not get caught up in the means of this world and all its attractions, for they too shall perish. How tragic would it be to have stood by something your whole life that simply had no meaning at all, something of no value. Let this be motivation for you all to know that God will never change and to put ALL your faith in him, for he will never let you down. Trust and believe that God may put you through it, but he will always make sure you survive. Coming out stronger and better than you were previously.

Peace & Blessings
