Good Morning | Trials, Tribulations, & Mourning

Its no secret that we all go through ups and downs, sometimes it feels as though we will never recover. We eventually get depressed and it seems like its only downhill from there, like it will never get better. Family, friends, co-workers, even spouses try to give advice, but nothing works. Friends, if ever you feel like this, it is time to start putting your trust in God. Sometimes, many times, God forces us through situations, only to find comfort in him.

We don’t trust God enough sometimes to get us through certain troubles, or to fix situations in our lives. God provides a type of comfort and assurance that no man could ever provide, you have to be willing to listen and trust that God will comfort you.

“Blessed are those that mourn, for they will be comforted

Matthew 5:4 (NIV)

Who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God

2 Corinthians 1:4 (NIV)

God doesn’t want us to feel miserable, depressed and down and out, he wants us to all the time be happy, cheerful, like we could conquer the world! To be comforted means to also receive strength, encouragement, and hope to deal with your troubles. The more we suffer, the more God gives us. If ever you feel overwhelmed, allow God’s peaceful spirit to devour any uncertainty in your heart.

At the same time, God also wants us to freely give the same comfort that he blessed us with, to others. God is not by any means a selfish God, he wants us to give back to those who may feel or have gone through the same troubles as us.

Its okay for us to be sad at times and to become discouraged, we just need to know that God is always going to be there every step of the way. He waits for us to use his never-ending fountain of comfort, just have faith!

Peace, Blessings & Happiness
