Grobler Architects | Cape Town – Victorian Cottage

I recently watched a interview with Jill Scott explaining how all parts of Africa aren’t what we think it is. Dusty roads, huts, and signs of poverty isn’t all that the mother land has to offer. Of course there may still be some parts of the country which are more traditional, however it seems Cape Town are caught up with the modern times.

Located in the Gardens area in Cape Town, South Africa, Grobler Architects add to the flourishing area with there contemporary design. Some of the upgrades to the original 1970’s structure include: Home office with combined guest suite, 3-storey addition to the existing cottage and even a double garage.

Along with these awesome exterior features, inside you can discover marble and black granite surfaces and porcelain floor tiles for top of the line finishes. The designers even upgraded the landscaping by adding a planted terrace, private courtyard, koi ponds and indigenous planting.
