Good Morning | Never Give Up, Never Surrender!

Tuesday Morning (Winter)

Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not five up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.

Galatians 6:9,10 (NIV)

Therefore, my fear brothers, stand firm. let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

1 Corinthians 15:58 (NIV)

It could become discouraging to continue to do right and receive no recognition, thanks or tangible results for your good effort. However if we trust god for the results, in due time, we will reap a harvest of blessing. Becuase of the resurrection, nothing we do is in vain. Sometimes we hesitate to do good because we don’t see any results. Though if we maintain a heavenly perspective, we will understand that we often will not see the good that results from our efforts.

Don’t let discouragement over an apparent lack of results keep you from working. Do the good that you have opportunity to do now, knowing that your work will have results.

I could recall a couple of times where and when I started to feel discouraged and down about the way situations would work out in my life. The funny thing is, as I’m typing this, I am exactly where I always imagined and wanted to be in my life and things are only getting better. If we continue to have faith and continue to keep God’s word in our hearts, we will steadily have determination in our hearts to not give up.

One way of thinking that truly helped me along the way was believing that better was not only coming, but that it was right around the corner.

Have a blessed, and stress-free day!
